Tas Trans Shipping & Freight Forwarding recognizes that the protection and safeguarding of your personal data is of the utmost importance and is therefore committed to respecting your privacy and protecting that data.
This Privacy and Confidentiality Statement sets out how our company uses your personal data and the measures it has taken to protect and safeguard that data. This applies to you where    you receive services from us, participate in events or marketing activities or interact with us in any other way, including using any of our websites or communicating with us via social media.

Collection of personal information

The following types of personal information may be collected, stored and use
  1. Information about your computer including your IP address, your geographic location, your browser type and version, and your operating system.
  2. Information about your visits and use of the website including external source, duration of visit, page views and website navigation path
  3. Information such as your email address, which you enter when registering on the website.
  4. Information, such as your name and email, that you enter when setting up your subscriptions and for sending emails and/or newsletters.
  5. Information you enter when using services on our website.
  6. Information obtained when using the website, such as when, how often and under what conditions you use it.
  7. Information contained in any communication you make with us via email or through the website, including the content of the communication and metadata.
  8. Any other personal information you send us.

Transfer and disclosure of your personal data

We do not market or transfer your personal data to third parties, except as set out in this privacy statement and as required by law. In particular, in order to provide our services, we may share your personal information with certain third parties acting on our behalf (as processors) in order to provide you with the best possible service

Preservation of personal data

  1. Section G sets out our personal data retention process and policy, designed to ensure compliance with our legal obligations regarding the retention and deletion of personal data.
  2. Personal data that we process for any purpose will not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose.
  3. Notwithstanding the other provisions of Section G, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data
    • to the extent required by law.
    • if we consider that the documents may relate to any applicable legal process and
    • for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending our legal rights (including providing information to third parties for the purpose of fraud prevention and credit risk reduction);
In case you consent to the use of your data for marketing purposes, we will retain your data until you request otherwise or even withdraw your consent.

Your rights

  • The right to transparent information regarding the exercise of your rights (Articles 12, 13, 14 GDPR),
  • The right of access (Article 15 GDPR) to the personal data we have collected from you
  • The right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR) of inaccurate personal information we hold about you
  • The right to deletion (“right to be forgotten”) (Article 17 GDPR) of the Member-User account and the information we hold about you. We note that exercising the right to delete an active subscriber means that we will not be able to continue to provide the services you may have requested
  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal data (Article 18 GDPR) where possible
  • The right to object (Article 21 GDPR) to the processing of your personal data
  • The right to withdraw your already given consent (Article 7 GDPR), e.g. withdraw your consent at any time for consent-based processing. The lawfulness of the processing of your data will not be affected by the withdrawal of consent until the moment you request.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Personal Data Protection Authority.

Security of personal data

  • We will take the necessary technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal data.
  • We will store all personal data you provide on our secure (password and firewall protected) servers.
  • You accept that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure and we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the internet.
